This piece was created using acrylic paints applied with both brush and palette knife. Metallic gold brings out the subtle areas of texture in the background. Delicate pastel lines accentuate floral details and add interest to the piece. The sides of the gallery-wrapped canvas are painted. A gloss varnish seals the painting and further highlights the texture. Finally, I installed a picture wire on the back for easy hanging.
