Before you can show up for anyone else, you have to show up for yourself. This is not selfish. This is foundational. Take yourself out to a nice dinner. Take the trip. Sit with your own thoughts long enough to actually hear them. Learn what you like, what you need, what fills you back up when the world has emptied you out. The flamingo doesn't apologize for its color. It doesn't dim itself to blend in or wait for permission to stand tall. It simply is beautifully and unapologetically itself. 
 
That is the invitation. To know yourself so well, to be so comfortable in your own company, that your wholeness becomes the greatest gift you could ever offer anyone else. Fly solo. It's not lonely. It's is liberating.
 
About the Collection
This collection began with a simple idea: no matter who we are, we all share the same human experiences and emotions. "Under the Same Sky" explores the many ways we experience those connections… the excitement of a new friendship, the quiet comfort of being understood, the distance that stretches relationships, and the joy of finding your way back to one another. These moments are all depicted using scenes of birds mixed with collage.
