This piece was created using acrylic paints applied with both brush and palette knife. Subtle metalics bring out the texture of the background. Delicate pastel lines accentuate floral details and add interest to the piece. The sides of the 18 x 24 gallery-wrapped canvas are painted gray. A gloss varnish seals the painting and further highlights the texture. I installed a picture wire on the back for easy hanging.
