Our pets are just like family. Always remember how special they are with a custom pet portrait. These paintings will become treasured pieces or they make a truly original gift.
My style of pet portraits concentrates on the animal's face, only showing a small portion of the body and incorporates a simple background. This allows me to better capture your pet's personality without any "outside" distractions.
Minimum cost is $145 for a single animal on an 8 x 10 canvas and goes up from there based on size and other specifics. To get your quote for a larger size email me directly: Katie@katiephillipsart.com
Pet Portrait Process:1 - I require a 50% deposit to get you into my schedule
2- After purchase, I will request a high resolution photo of your pet to work from. It's very important that the photo is of high quality and has good lighting (i.e. iPhone photos tend to not work as well).
3- I will send a sketch of the portrait for your approval prior to beginning work. Once I receive your approval, this sketch becomes my "road map."
4 - I will send a photo of the completed painting for your approval. I'm happy to make minor touch-ups however any major deviations from the approved sketch will result in additional costs.
5 - Once I receive your approval, I will request the final payment. Once receive, your pet portrait will be on it's way to you within a few days.
*Please allow 2 - 3 weeks from the time of purchase until you receive your painting. If it will be longer than 3 weeks I will let you know up front.
